Breann Thorne Stanzell is a Christian author from Northern Minnesota. She has always loved to read and therefore has an active imagination. In 2012, she graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Acting/Directing with a minor in General Business. After moving back to her hometown for a short time, she met her future husband, Dan. In the winter of 2013, the two moved to the Twin Cities for a job opportunity. While living there, Breann started working for Intermediate School District 287 and discovered her love of teaching; more specifically working with the kids who were "hard" and "poorly behaved." In the summer of 2014, Breann had a series of 3 dreams over the course of 3 days. They were so vivid and detailed she knew she had to share them with the world. And so began the writing of "The High Queen. Just before the wedding of her and Dan, the book detailing the first of these dreams was published by Christian Faith Publishing. In the time it took Breann to finish her book, she also went back to school for her Master's Degrees in Elementary and Special Education and moved back to her hometown. She became a Special Education teacher on the beautiful Iron Range working with kids who have social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. In the summer of 2017, Dan and Breann became parents to Sophia Grace; their own Princess Sophie. In the summer of 2019, Sophia was joined by another little princess, Nina Lucille. In February 2021, Henry Albert was born to complete the Stanzell family. An active member of Woodlands Bible Church in Eveleth, MN, Breann hopes her work of Fantasy can help share the love of Christ with the world in a way that stirs the imagination. Breann and Dan currently are living in a newly built house that they will continue to finish to accommodate their growing family. In June of 2021, Breann made the decision to end her publishing agreement with Christian Faith Publishing. She continues to work towards the next steps for her work.
